PLANNING, DESIGN AND DELIVERY STRATEGIES FOR AIRPORT OWNERS, OPERATORS AND SUPPLIERS
Meeting the new technologies for improved airport infrastructure
Whilst the global recession has had a huge impact on the aviation industry, the majority of the world’s major airports are still improving airport infrastructure and to expanding airports. New airport technologies offer a new fast, economical, sustainable and security mode of airport infrastructure. We have covered the short-term solution to the capacity challenges in our aptly named, Airport Terminal Capacity 2010. The long-term solution lies in airport development - modernisation and expansion across all airport infrastructures, or even the development of brand new airports or terminals. This includes both airside and landside. These developments are underway across the globe. In particular, the Middle East is one region that is continuing to push ahead with some especially ambitious (and recession defying) developments. In spite of the current economic climate, massive airport development projects, unprecedented airline expansions and ever-soaring traffic are turning the region into an aviation supplier's dream. Over $68 billion worth of airport infrastructure modernisation and expansions are currently underway across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region.
Airport Evolution: Middle East 2010 will bring together airport owners, operators, design, engineering and construction companies, consultancies and technology providers. Industry leaders will address the specific technical and operational challenges of planning, designing and delivering airport modernisation and expansion projects in order to increase capacity and cope with future demands.
SPECIALISED STRATEGIC, TECHNICAL AND OPERATIONAL CONTENT FOR SENIOR DECISION MAKERS
Senior airport professionals who are delivering challenging, wide ranging modernisation and expansion projects face numerous specific challenges that cannot be met in the context of broad-based events. We believe there is great benefit in face-to-face contact, idea sharing and information exchange between all those involved in such projects. This is why we have created Airport Evolution: Middle East 2010. We undertake extensive phone and face-to-face research with the industry’s key stakeholders and subject matter experts. This results in a highly focussed conference agenda featuring the most relevant mix of senior management from all relevant departments. Our speakers bring extensive and specific, expertise to bear and focus on the industry’s key challenges and opportunities by lifting the lid on the industry’s most innovative projects.

In addition to the event, we facilitate a specialised online Airport Evolution: Middle East community that converse and network all year round. You will find like-minded airport professionals discussing the industry’s latest developments. Join the Airport Evolution: Middle East community here
